Autism Spectrum Disorders

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders exhibit a broad range of behavioral, social, and emotional challenges, but they often do not respond to reward systems or discipline in the way we would like them to.  This does not mean that behavior management strategies won’t work!  In fact, behavior therapy is the same thing as ABA therapy, which is the gold standard treatment for ASD.  It can be a little tricky, but figuring out what your child will respond to is exactly what we specialize in.
