Anxiety
Children with anxiety can pose some of the most challenging behaviors of all. Anxious children are very good at getting their parents to respond in ways that might help in the short-term, but inadvertently make anxiety worse in the long run. It is really difficult to watch your child’s anxiety make their world smaller and smaller, preventing them from doing the things they want to do. I can give you and your child strategies for responding to anxiety in ways that will help your child grow her/his capacity to manage those bad feelings, and reduce the hold that anxiety has on your family.
