Skills Training for Children

Sometimes kids just don’t seem to know how we want them to behave.  Children with ADD often need help learning how to control their impulses, kids with Autism don’t know basic rules of social etiquette, and little ones that suffer from anxiety don’t know how to manage their anxious feelings.  Once you get going with a system of positive reinforcement and effective discipline, we can teach your child any skill he/she needs, and you already have the scaffolding in place to reward use of those skills in real life!  This is where it all comes together, and we can improve virtually any behavioral issue using a combination of explicit skills instruction with positive reinforcement for using those skills, and effective discipline for when your child chooses to continue to use those old negative behaviors.
